Visiting Assistant Professor of Social Work
The BSW Social Work Department at Siena College (Loudonville, NY) is seeking applicants for a fulltime Visiting Assistant Professor position at the baccalaureate level for two academic years: 2014-15 and 2015-16.
Minimum requirements include: MSW with at least 2 years practice experience; prior social work/human service teaching experience; a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education; and a collaborative working style. Experience with internship/field education a plus. CSWE accredited since 1985 (next re-accreditation 2015).
Responsibilities will include a 4/4 teaching load of both lower and upper level BSW courses within a technologically integrated teaching environment. Courses taught could be throughout the curriculum, such as: practice and policy sequences, and Field Seminar.
