The courses offered span the fields of astronomy, physics and astrophysics. As an astronomy minor, you'll learn to think critically in order to evaluate and solve problems related to astronomical and other scientific topics. This program is excellent preparation for STEM graduate programs and careers. 

An Enhanced Look At The Stars

Students in Siena’s astronomy program explore the galaxy through the largest telescope in the Capital Region. From the Breyo Observatory, on top of Roger Bacon Hall, student astronomers are using new instruments to analyze celestial objects and observe the amount of light emitted by stars.
