Get introduced to the founding traditions of Western society and discover the history, literature, arts, and languages of the medieval and early modern world through this interdisciplinary minor. Set between the crumbling of the Roman Empire and the time commonly called the Enlightenment, the medieval and renaissance periods encompassed a time of religious diversity, cultural contact, and shifting gender roles.  As a medieval and Renaissance studies minor, you'll be introduced to primary source materials including documents, poetry, music, art, letters and laws, the multiple disciplines that comprise medieval and Renaissance studies and work with distinguished faculty scholars.
