The strategic decision making concentration is a series of courses that will provide students with an advanced understanding of core areas required of all business executives.  The interdisciplinary topics covered in the concentration are designed to develop an approach towards strategic decision making. 

Topics in this concentration include:

  • Advanced statistics
  • Advanced economic theory
  • Managerial finance
  • Cutting-edge organizational behavior principles.

A student in this concentration will be exposed to the proper structure and application of the research process.

Courses may include:

  • Business Statistics II
  • Game Theory and Decision Making
  • Managerial Finance II
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Marketing or Management Research Methods
  • Econometrics

This is one of 22 concentrations offered in the School of Business. Concentrations are available to all students and can be combined with all majors, including each of the majors offered by the School of Business. Students who select the business major must choose two concentrations to build their unique degree.
