Program Overview

Siena College's vibrant theatre program encourages students to explore a multidisciplinary approach to their education. As a theatre major, you'll have the opportunity to participate in various aspects of theatre production, including performing, producing, stage managing, and working in design and technical realms such as costume, scenic, lighting, sound, and projection.

Our theatre productions encompass a diverse range, from timeless classics in the historic canon to cutting-edge contemporary practices like devised theatre and theatre for social justice.

When you join our program, you'll have the option to choose from three exciting tracks: Design and Technology, Performance, or Management. No matter which track you pursue, you will gain a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of theatre-making that will prepare you for further education in theatre or open doors to a variety of professions within the entertainment industry.
