No matter your major—finance, accounting, marketing, economics, history, psychology, computer science, biology and more—if you perform well in your job, you will likely play a leadership role during your career. Courses in this concentration provide in-depth knowledge on leadership theories and insight into effective, ethical leadership practices. You will examine and develop your own leadership style and sharpen skills that will help you succeed such as thinking like a leader, leading and energizing teams, communicating with confidence, and making informed decisions. This concentration is also excellent preparation for students who want to start a business, work in the public or private sectors, join a not-for-profit or pursue graduate education.
