Siena’s French major is taught in small classes, providing a well-rounded understanding of the language, its culture and history. Highlights of being a French major include: small classes, courses offered in both English and French; film screenings; research opportunities ranging in topic from culinary specialties to literary, historic, sociopolitical and filmic works.You'll learn to communicate in French with confidence, interpret text, analyze cultural materials and gain a ton of knowledge about French and Francophone history and culture. An 18-credit minor is also offered.
