Business Major

Siena's business major provides both a strong overview of business subjects and an opportunity to dive deeper into two areas of interest through its concentrations.

The School of Business core curriculum provides an overview of critical business disciplines including accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing and essential quantitative analysis skills. The business major enables students to gain valuable depth in two of these critical business subjects. In addition to the pre-business foundation and skills course and the business core, students are required to select at least two concentrations from a broad range of business disciplines

  • Customization. Students are able to choose concentrations that are most appealing to them.
  • Choices. Students have the flexibility to choose courses of study and combinations of concentrations that meet their unique needs and desires, as compared to choosing from a handful of majors.
  • Marketability. The concentrations offered are current, relevant and valuable in today's marketplace and make our students' resumes to stand out.
  • Interdisciplinary. Students from the Schools of Liberal Arts and Science can expand their educational experience by completing a concentration from the business major.
