Our program provides the coursework, field experience, and support you need to become a certified teacher in New York State from Birth through Grade 6. Here’s what sets Siena apart:
Prepare for two New York State certification areas: Birth–Grade 2 and Grades 1–6. Choose from 40+ concentrations that match your interests and help shape the kind of educator you want to become. Options include psychology, creative arts, multimedia design, English, sociology, Spanish and more.
You'll start field hours early in the program, working alongside experienced teachers in the Capital District.
