My teaching philosophy centers on equipping students with practical, high-level Data Analytics (D&A) skills by grounding theoretical concepts in real-world applications and hands-on tool mastery (such as R, Tableau, and JMP). Rather than viewing analytics as mere data-crunching, I foster critical thinking by encouraging students to identify data biases, design robust studies, and carefully evaluate conclusions. To ensure an engaging and supportive learning environment, I incorporate iterative assignments that offer early feedback and opportunities for revision, ultimately preparing students with the adaptable, employer-ready expertise needed in today's job market.
