Jurist in Residence and accomplished local alumni attorneys.
During the spring 2013 semester, Siena's team went up against schools such as NYU, Princeton, Holy Cross and Brown in the regional round and received a bid for the national tournament. The team also brought home four individual awards, more than any other team in the tournament. Co-captains, Christine Armstrong ’13 and Mara Afzali ’14, both won All Region Attorney awards. Also, Steven Procopio ‘15 and Christine Armstrong ’13 were named All Region Best Witness winners. Armstrong was the only competitor in Boston who received both an attorney and a witness award.
Located in Siena Hall, the moot courtroom is a flexible space that serves as a classroom and courtroom. It allows students to learn about the legal profession and givse members of the Honorable James P. King Moot Court/Mock Trial Team a space to train, practice and scrimmage in preparation for competitions through the American Mock Trial Association.
