Student Engagement Resources:

  • SAINTS Connect: A comprehensive calendar of upcoming campus programs & events sponsored by student clubs, organizations, and campus departments. The SAINTS Connect system also has a full list of student clubs and organizations for students to review for involvement opportunities.
  • Student Activities & Leadership Development: The Student Activities & Leadership Development staff work with students to identify opportunities for engagement on campus.
  • Chaplain’s Office: The Office of the College Chaplain serves as the spiritual center of campus where hundreds of young men and women gather regularly to share their joys, triumphs, talents, questions, struggles, and, most significantly, their faith in God and their commitment to the Gospel.
  • Damietta Cross Cultural Center: The Damietta Cross-Cultural Center works to provide support, services and events that promote diversity in an engaging way.  We seek to empower students to be agents of change by fostering an inclusive community as active bystanders and peer educators.
  • Sr. Thea Bowman Center for Women: The Sister Thea Bowman Center for Women provides innovative, value-based programs and initiatives that educate, engage and empower students.  In collaboration with the Siena community, we foster advocacy efforts for social justice, gender equality, and women’s development.
  • Franciscan Center for Service & Advocacy: The Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy (FCSA) promotes and upholds the Franciscan mission of the college by engaging students and the Siena community in various service and advocacy programs, particularly among the poor and marginalized.

 

Student Support Resources:

  • Counseling Center: The Siena College Counseling Center offers free, confidential, short-term counseling for students to reduce emotional distress, learn coping skills, foster resilience, and receive support.
  • Office of Accessibility: The Office of Accessibility acts as a liaison for students with disabilities within the College community and works with students on any needed accommodations to support their success.
  • Health Services: Siena College Health Services is affiliated with St. Peter’s Health Partners. Health Services provides students with quality ambulatory health care with the goal of promoting a healthy college community by prevention & surveillance of disease, promoting student self-advocacy and wellness, and serving as a health care referral source for students.
  • Office of Health Promotion: The Office of Health Promotion serves as a campus resource on a range of health related issues including alcohol and other drug use, mental and emotional health, anxiety and stress reduction, healthy relationships, and spiritual well-being.

    • Siena Life Student Handbook: Siena Life is a comprehensive listing of the Student Code of Conduct and contains information about institutional policies and procedures.
    • Guest & Visitor Policies: Information on registering guests who are coming to campus for day or overnight visits.
    • Student Internal Complaint Policy: This policy serves as a guide for students who wish to file a complaint about any aspect of Siena’s operations, policies, and/or procedures. Additionally, a student may utilize this process to file a complaint against any employee of the College (e.g. faculty member, administrator, staff member) or any visitor, volunteer or contractor.
