In order to renew your federal, state and/or Siena need-based financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year by May 1.

Maintaining your federal and state aid depends upon satisfactory academic progress.

State Aid

Recipients of New York State assistance must be in good academic standing and have declared an academic major by the beginning of their Junior year.

Students must meet both "satisfactory academic progress" (SAP) and "pursuit of program" requirements as defined by New York State. Students that do not meet either of the requirements will be contacted by the Financial Aid Office and will be offered the opportunity to submit a written appeal.
