Out of all the business schools across the country, how do you know which ones should be on your list if you’re interested in an undergrad business degree or a master’s program?

Decide on a location. Research alumni networks. Read about the faculty. And, of course, look to the rankings.

Learn.org just recently published its 2020-2021 school year rankings of “The 50 Best Business Degrees,” and Siena proudly claims the #16 spot.

College is so much more than just classes, reading and papers. Research is a seriously big part of higher education. As you sift through your options for majors and minors available at the schools you’re most interested in, you may hear about or read the words “data science.”
Whether you recognize the area of study or not, here’s the first thing you should know: skilled data scientists are in demand in every industry, in every business. It’s a lucrative and exciting career to have, and a smart field of study to get into early—if it interests you, of course.

Two things we want you to know on this topic: 1) The value of having shops, eateries, and convenience stores within walking distance of your dorm cannot be underestimated. Even if you have access to public transportation or a car, being able to get places by foot too can seriously make campus life easier and so much more fun. (Also, the exercise = two thumbs up.)
