Admissions

You've heard it before: College is one of the biggest investments you'll ever make for yourself and your future.

But what does that really mean?

At Siena, we want you (students, Moms, Dads, families) to know that the cost of college is more than just a number to us. Here are some real and honest facts about our tuition, financial aid, and all the in-betweens.

We're not just a college.

We're parents too. We're recent graduates, or part-time students right now. We're caretakers for aging relatives, or the sole provider for our own kids. We know that both time and money are resources that we can't take for granted-now or ever.

That's why we're proud that Siena is consistently ranked a best value college, meaning that your dollar goes farther, getting you more while you're here and giving you an education for a lifetime

We'll help you find every cent to fund your education.

We offer generous scholarships and grants to help make a Siena education affordable for Saints. In fact, we gave out $62 million in aid last year.

We also offer a wide array of financial aid programs, and we work with you one-on-one to understand your unique situation. Have questions on the FAFSA or don't know where to look for external scholarships? Just ask us. Did you recently get admitted to Siena and then... a parent lost their job? Let us know. We mean it when we say, we're in this together.

The best part...

Every admitted student at Siena is guaranteed at least $57,000 in scholarships, whether you're in-state or out-of-state; all you have to do is submit your FAFSA.

Again, that's g-u-a-r-a-n-t-e-e-d. We don't like fine print or asterisks either. We guarantee this minimum amount because we know the work that Saints-and their families-put in to get here, and we want to recognize and reward that.

Graduate on time, or the rest of the bill is on us.

That's right. As part of the Siena Guarantee, we also guarantee that you'll earn your degree in four years, or we'll pay for the rest of your education. That's a big reason why Saints graduate in four years at a much higher rate than the U.S. average.

That means less money out of your wallet, plus a faster start to the career of your dreams.

High value still means high achievement.

Did you know that private school grads earn on average 20% higher annual salaries than public school graduates? In fact, Saints make $500,000 more in lifetime earnings than SUNY grads.

Plus, not only are virtually all Saints employed or in grad school within a year of graduation, more than 85% of them say they are satisfied with their jobs. And nearly 90% of Siena grads say their job allows them to make a difference in the world.

We're not after money. We're after the right people.

Our community is full of bright, creative, altruistic people who strive to make the world a better place. And if that sounds good to you, then we want you to be a part of it.

While we value a rigorous high school curriculum in our future Saints, we take the time in the application process to get to know the real you. What do you do in your spare time? What's your real passion in life?

Plus, Siena is test-optional for freshman, meaning you can take that off of your stress list.
