Mental Health & Spiritual
The Siena College Counseling Center offers free, confidential, short-term counseling for students to reduce emotional distress, learn coping skills, foster resilience, and receive support. Please contact the Counseling Center at 518-783-2342 for an initial appointment.
The Office of the College Chaplain serves as the spiritual center of campus where hundreds of young men and women gather regularly to share their joys, triumphs, talents, questions, struggles, and, most significantly, their faith in God and their commitment to the Gospel.
Damietta Cross Cultural Center partnered with the Chaplins Office serves as the spiritual center of campus where students of diverse backgrounds can come together to meet friends, address spiritual needs and learn from multiple faith groups.
The Office of Health Promotion serves as a campus resource on a range of health related issues including alcohol and other drug use, mental and emotional health, anxiety and stress reduction, healthy relationships, and spiritual well-being.

At the Academic Success Center Students benefit from using the academic resources and services of the college. This professional assistance can increase student success as it provides guidance through the academic journey by assisting with transition to Siena, in need of academic advising/assistance/tutoring, navigating College policies, procedures, requirements, and standards, requesting late course grading options and late course add/drop/withdrawals, seeking (along with their parents and faculty) assistance in reaching resolution of academic progress issues.

The Academic Success Center provides Drop-in and Individual Peer Tutoring during both the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer tutoring is available by special arrangement only. Tutoring services are available to all currently registered undergraduate students at Siena at no additional charge. Peer tutors are recommended by faculty and have attended tutor training. We do not provide tutoring for non-Siena students, nor do we hire tutors from off campus. Tutoring schedules are updated regularly.
