Marlie Christensen, a 2021 Health Studies/Health Science graduate, now excels in the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The John Hopkins Hospital. She states that her education, rich in coursework like anatomy, psychology, and medical ethics, prepared her for the complexities of healthcare and directly contributed to her success. Each day, Marlie applies her comprehensive knowledge to provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families.
A Global Health Impact
Sophie Whiteman, a 2022 Health Studies/Health Science graduate, went on to work in a private ophthalmic practice before pursuing her Master of Public Health with a focus on Social Behavior and Community Health. She credits her education at Siena and a three-month internship at Engeye Health Clinic in Uganda for equipping her with the essential skills to address complex public health challenges.
