Siena Hosts Annual Green Chemistry Institute

Siena College recently hosted its third annual Green Chemistry Summer Institute. This free three day workshop brings together more than a dozen high school chemistry teachers from all over New York to participate in discussions and hands-on experiments to broaden their knowledge of Green Chemistry.

Now, we want to help you beef up your college-decision folders with the items you should be taking home with you post-visit. (If you don't have folders set aside for each of the schools on your list, get to it! Siena Student Returns to Give Back to School

When presented with the opportunity to leave his mark on Siena’s campus, recent graduate Luke Lavera ’15 didn’t hesitate. Lavera was approached this past fall about coming back after graduation to paint a mural in the Sarazen Student Union, and he thought it was the perfect way to combine his love of Siena with his passion for creative arts.
