The David ‘73 and Christine Spicer ‘75 Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an interdisciplinary program focused on business creation from idea development through commercialization. The Center’s primary focus is on student businesses but with a secondary focus on outside business ideas that can also engage student interest and learning.
Siena’s Stack Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship engages students through high impact learning practices designed to develop critical thinking, innovation and entrepreneurial skills. In short, students receive a lifetime's worth of business and entrepreneurship training in a fast-paced, accelerated experience. The Center engages more than 300 students annually all three schools: liberal arts, science and business.
The Center also seeks to highlight entrpreneurial-minded alumni who have successfully launched their own businesses to inspire the Center's current students. To that end, we are accepting nominations for the Maddalone Wall of Success and Entrepeneur of the Year award.
TeachMe, a custom mobile app, presented at the New York State Business Competition. The app provides dancers videos with accurate references of choreography for practicing, particularly useful when the student misses a lesson. They won the 2016 People's Choice Award.
