Amtrak serves the Capital Region via its terminal in Rensselaer, eight miles from campus. Taxi service is available. Some of the major destinations Siena students visit include, but are not limited to:
CDTA (Capital District Transportation Authority) - Route 29 bus stop is located directly in front of Siena College, which helps provides students access to venues throughout the Capital Region.
Students may ride any CDTA bus for free - simply swipe your SAINT card as you board at the front entrance of the bus.

Need a car? Borrow a Zipcar! Siena College has partnered with Zipcar to bring self-service, on-demand car sharing to the area. To use Zipcars, simply register as a member, reserve a car online or by phone, use your Zipcard to enter the car, and drive away. When you’re done, return the car to the same location where you picked it up.
