MEASURE FoR measure

An outdoor performance of Shakespeare 

On September 22, 2026 at 7 p.m. on Roger Bacon lawn, join us for Will Kempe's Players touring production of Measure for Measure. 

Directed by Sandra Boynton, with assistant director Cameryn Coetzee '24, this production explores themes of justice, power, morality and mercy through a story that remains relevant in the 21st century. Blending comedy with thought-provoking social issues, Measure for Measure offers audiences an engaging and memorable theatrical experience.

The production will be followed by a brief conversation about the Franciscan themes in the play featuring Br. Michael Perry, OFM, Minister Provincial and Servant of the Franciscan Friars in the Our Lady of Guadalupe province of the United States, and Fr. Dennis Tamburello, OFM, professor of religious studies.

Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
