Siena Student Wellness Room

The Health Promotion Office hosts/cohosts a variety of wellness-focused programs throughout the academic year. Training
The office provides educational trainings for students, faculty, staff, and administrators, including QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), Mental Health First Aid, Narcan administration, and other wellness-related workshops designed to build awareness and support skills. BASICS
BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) is a confidential, non-judgmental program that helps students reflect on their alcohol and/or cannabis use, reduce risks, and make informed decisions.
Birthday Bag Deliveries
Residential students who are celebrating their first birthday as a SAINT or their 21st birthday, will received a special birthday bag delivery filled with wellness items, treats, and on/off campus resources to help celebrate their special day.
Student Care Kits
SAINTS Student Care Kits are available to support students’ overall wellness and include;
Self care kit- These kits come with a stress ball, teabag, and information on ways to manage your stress/ideas for self care
Sleep Kit- Comes with ear plugs, caffeine free tea bag and information on how to get a good nights rest!

Narcan and Test Strips
The Health Promotion Office provides access to Narcan and fentanyl/xylazine test strips as part of Siena’s commitment to harm reduction, education, and student safety. There is a Narcan Emergency Box located in the SSU ( near the ATM) and in each dorm/TH area.
