For MD and DO programs, register for organic chemistry + lab 1 and 2, and possibly physics 1 and 2. Physics can be postponed for later semesters though depending on your major.
Meet with your advisor and the health professions director as needed.
Pursue undergraduate research opportunities. Think about applying for an NSF REU program.
Get to know your faculty. Visit office hours.
Read as much as you can about subjects that interest you
Are you thinking about applying for an Early Assurance program. This would be the time to start looking at what you need to do.
Build your academic skills and develop a plan for long term knowledge. You’ll eventually need to prove what you know on the MCAT/DAT/OAT.

HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE
Research health profession and start to look at graduate program admissions criteria.

Spend time doing things that are meaningful to you. Clubs, volunteer service, and sports are all great activities that help to develop your patience, compassion, and service orientation.
