2020 DIVERSITY ACTION COMMITTEE SUMMER FACULTY FELLOWSHIP RECIPIENTS: 

 

Dr. Shannon Draucker (Department of English) was awarded a Diversity Research Fellowship to work on her book project, Sounding Bodies: Music and Physiology in Victorian Literature. 

 

Dr. Soyoung Joo (Department of Marketing) was awarded a Diversity Research Fellowship for her project “Differences in CSR Authenticity Evaluation Between Cultures: Lessons Learned From Korean and US Consumers”

 

Dr. Lisa Nevárez (Department of English) was awarded a Curriculum Diversification Fellowship to develop an Intergroup Relations (IGR) course entitled “Faith and Identities.”

 

Dr. Rebecca Taylor (Department of Creative Arts) was awarded a Curriculum Diversification Fellowship to revise JOUR 405 Feature Writing & Reporting so that the course is centered on diversity.

 

Dr. Beverly Thompson (Department of Sociology) was awarded a Curriculum Diversification Fellowship to create modules that provided strategies and processes for student research to be inclusive in their topic, research strategy, and statements that would be incorporated in their SOCI 490 Senior Capstone Thesis.

 

Dr. Abbey Willis (Department of Sociology) was awarded a Curriculum Diversification Fellowship to revise and diversify the curriculum for SOCI 390 Social Theory Seminar.
