They have impacted the lives of literally thousands of high school students across the state, and for their outreach efforts they have received an honorary proclamation from the New York State Senate.

Nate T. Pruitt, Ph.D., is the director of the Counseling Center here and a licensed psychologist. He’s taught several undergrad and graduate courses and has done extensive research on topics like building emotional resilience in college students and the opportunities and challenges of working at a faith-based school.

Students can earn a bachelor’s degree and J.D. in five years in new accelerated program. This program is one of only two such law programs in the United States

Alumna Kristin Bernert ’96 spoke to members of the Siena community on Monday April 15th in the Key Auditorium in Roger Bacon. As Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Madison Square Garden (MSG) Sports, she shared what she has learned from her experiences working closely with major sports teams such as the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

Naw Eh Ku ’19, a sociology major with a minor in health studies, is this year’s recipient of The Lonnstrom HEOP (Higher Education Opportunity Program) Excellence Award.

James J. "Jim" Morrell ’66 has been named the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year by Siena College. The award is presented annually to a Siena graduate who has excelled as an entrepreneur, positively impacted the community, and is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit and Franciscan values of the College.

A Siena marketing alumna who rose to become a top executive with UPS will be the featured speaker at the College’s 79th annual Commencement on Sunday, May 12 at the Times Union Center.

It was the largest field ever at Siena’s 32nd annual High School Computer Programming Contest.
