The Siena mission recognizes the importance of creating inclusive spaces, programs, events, support, and services for our Saints and community members who identify as LGBTQ+ and Queer.
The Gender & Sexuality Resource Center is a place to find community, connection, pride, and empowerment. As we navigate a world filled with messages and expectations about gender, sexuality, and identity, the Center offers a welcoming space to explore who you are, connect with others, and discover your place within our community.
Located in the Damietta Cross Cultural Center, the Center provides opportunities to learn, connect, and get involved through:
- Social events and community-building activities
- Educational programs and discussions
- Student leadership and peer education
- Collaboration with student organizations and campus groups
- Resources, support, and opportunities for connection
Through expert consultation, co-sponsorship, and the work of Damietta Advocates (Peer Educators) and student leaders, we create engaging programs and events that bring our community together.
