Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP)

Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP)

Siena College is proud to have one of the best HEOP programs in the state of New York. Our HEOP students graduate at a rate higher than both state and national averages. The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Program (HEOP) is an academic support services program that provides access to a valuable college education. Eligibility is based on both academic and economic criteria.

Support Services

Siena HEOP students receive support services to enhance their academic success including:

  • A pre-freshman summer program
  • Counseling and tutoring services
  • Peer mentoring
  • Career, graduate and professional school advising

Financial Aid

HEOP students receive a generous financial aid package from federal, state and Siena College resources.

Space is limited and admission highly competitive. To be considered for HEOP, students must be New York State residents and meet the required qualifications. If you would like more information about HEOP at Siena, call (518) 783-2352 or email HEOPadmissions@siena.edu.

HEOP and its activities are supported, in whole or in part, by the New York State Education Department.
