Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization for students and professionals in accounting, finance, and information systems, dedicated to academic excellence, professional development, and ethical leadership.

Membership recognizes outstanding academic achievement and a commitment to the financial information professions. Beta Alpha Psi promotes the study and practice of these fields while providing opportunities for professional growth, networking, and service.

The Nu Xi Chapter at Siena University supports student development through programming, events, and engagement with industry professionals. Members are encouraged to uphold strong ethical standards and contribute to the community.

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the highest academic honor for business students at AACSB-accredited institutions. Its mission is to recognize academic excellence, foster professional growth, and uphold ethical leadership.

Membership is reserved for undergraduate students in the top 10% of their class. Inductees join a global network of business leaders committed to excellence and integrity.

Siena University's BGS chapter hosts an annual spring induction ceremony where members are recognized and receive graduation stoles. The chapter also awards a $1,000 scholarship to a student member for outstanding achievement and selects a Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year.

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity dedicated to fostering the study of business, encouraging scholarship and leadership, and promoting ethical and professional development.
Founded in 1907 at New York University, Delta Sigma Pi has grown to over 300 collegiate and alumni chapters with more than 250,000 members worldwide. It is one of the nation’s leading organizations for students pursuing careers in business.

The Theta Upsilon Chapter at Siena University is composed of driven and diverse School of Business students recognized for leadership, professionalism, and community involvement. The Siena Finance Club serves as the umbrella organization for both the Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Financial Planning Club, bringing together students interested in all areas of finance, including investments, banking, corporate finance, financial planning, and emerging areas such as fintech, private equity, and wealth management.

Our mission is to support the professional, educational, and social development of students by creating meaningful opportunities to explore careers in finance. Through events, programming, and hands-on experiences, members engage directly with industry professionals and build connections within both the Siena community and the broader financial network.

We place a strong emphasis on real-world exposure—connecting students with professionals, alumni, and community partners to better understand the evolving landscape of finance and develop the skills needed for success.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a service program that provides free income tax preparation to qualified individuals based on federally established income guidelines.

Siena University students participate by becoming IRS-certified through the Link & Learn program. Each spring, students prepare tax returns and assist clients while gaining hands-on experience in tax preparation and financial services.

Through work in libraries, community organizations, and senior centers, students build practical skills and contribute to Siena’s Franciscan mission of service.
