A redesigned Siena College custom license plate from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles is now available in the passenger class to motorists statewide.
How to Order
The Siena College plate is available at any DMV office, on the web, by mail or through the DMV Custom Plates Unit. You can call the Custom Plates Unit at (518) 402-4838, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or order you plates online at: http://dmv.ny.gov/cplates.htm.
First-Time Registrants
If you do not currently have a Siena College plate, you can purchase a standard one for an initial fee of $60. The annual fee is $31.25, which is in addition to the standard registration renewal fee. The plate can be personalized with up to six characters, including spaces, for an initial fee of $91.25, with an annual fee of $62.50.
International Symbol of Access
The Siena College plate is also available with the International Symbol of Access (ISA) on it for any registrant with a disability who qualifies for such a plate. Any individual qualifying for an ISA must contact the Custom Plates Unit at (518) 402-4838 before submitting his/her application.
