INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS

Do your Saint like technology? Do your Saint like helping people? This position may be right for them. ITS is seeking applications for the Student Consultant position for the upcoming academic year. 

Positions are available for both work-study and regular student employment. Hours include days, nights, and weekends. We have something available that will fit their schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting students with technology needs such as password resets, multi-factor authentication, basic Canvas questions, connecting to wi-fi, malware and web browser issues, and installing software
  • Answering phones and entering information into our helpdesk ticketing system
  • Printer maintenance including toner replacement and paper management
  • Identifying trending problems and escalating to the ITS team
  • Assisting with on-site special event support setting up/breaking down projectors/projector screens and laptop equipment
  • Assisting ITS staff with special projects

ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

As a student worker in the Alumni Engagement Department your Saint would assist members of the team with event preparation, marketing and communications, management of alumni data, and other miscellaneous tasks throughout the semester. This is a great opportunity to learn about event management, database management and how to work in a face paced multi-tasked environment.

  • Assist with alumni engagement event preparation throughout the semester
  • Update alumni records in various databases
  • Manage inventory of event materials, giveaways, etc.
  • Attend alumni engagement events when needed to assist with event set up, breakdown and registration
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects throughout the semester

Pay Rate: $14.20/hour
