Health Services Fees

A nominal charge is billed to the student account for any medications dispensed, supplies provided or in office lab testing performed. Health Services does not bill insurance companies but students may request a receipt if they wish to submit their own insurance claims.

HIV/STI Testing

Educational consultation and confidential HIV and STI testing is available to students at Health Services by making an appointment. Off-site referral for free and anonymous HIV/ STI testing sites is available by calling Health Services at (518)783-2554, option 1 to speak with the nurse.

Laboratory Testing

Laboratory testing is available through the Health Services when ordered by a Health Services provider or by an off- campus clinician. Laboratory testing is sent to St. Peter’s Hospital for processing and billing. The hospital will bill the student’s insurance plan and the student directly for services rendered. The student’s college account is charged for quick tests done in the office as part of a health service appointment.
