The College of Saint Rose announced today that it has invited Siena to become a teachout partner. While details are still being finalized, Siena is appreciative of the opportunity to support the Saint Rose community.

“The Siena College community is committed to providing extensive support during this challenging time of transition. Our institutions share a longstanding history with personal and academic connections spanning decades, and there is a meaningful alignment in our academic programs and institutional values. We are honored that St. Rose has asked Siena to serve as a teaching partner. We understand the importance of continuity in education and are here to support each student's unique journey,” said President Chuck Seifert in a statement.

Recognizing that students at colleges facing closure often experience interruptions in their education, Siena is committed to assisting St. Rose students to establish a smooth pathway to complete their education at Siena in a timely and affordable manner.

To Saint Rose Students: The closing of Saint Rose is a profound loss for so many, but especially for those of you who have yet to graduate. While nothing can replace your time at Saint Rose, please know that our doors are open to you. Should you choose to become a Siena Saint, we promise to support your academic and personal journey with the same dedication you cherished at Saint Rose. Our goal right now is to make your next step as easy as possible for you.

Siena will hold a virtual Saint Rose to Saint Teachout Program info session on Wednesday, January 3 at 7 p.m. to begin sharing information. More importantly, we hope to hear from you so we can best support you through this program!

Sign up for the session, even if you can’t make it live. We’ll send you a recording and include you in communications as more information is available.
