Academics, Student Life

Siena College and Clarkson University have finalized an agreement that will allow Siena’s health studies graduates to be automatically admitted to Clarkson’s healthcare management MBA program.

"This new agreement offers Siena's health studies students access to career paths in an expanding and dynamic field. We look forward to working with Clarkson in this collaborative effort," said Dr. Duane A. Matcha, director of Siena’s health studies program.

Any Siena student who is admitted will automatically be awarded a $10,000 tuition scholarship at Clarkson for their healthcare management MBA. They may also qualify for course waivers.

Siena’s BA in health studies provides an overview of the healthcare system and critical public health issues. Students choose among one of three tracks: health administration, health science and health policy.

The Clarkson’s MBA program in healthcare management is designed to help students understand the complexities of the healthcare system and to manage health and health-related facilities more effectively.

Students can complete their Clarkson healthcare management MBA on a part-time or full-time schedule, online or in an on-site classroom.
