During senior week, Ben Leib '22, G'24 arrived at the townhouses bearing gifts. The sales account executive for Bilinski's scored some free product from his employer and treated his friends to a feast of the best chicken sausage on the market.

"We decided at the company to post on Instagram pictures of people having a good time eating Bilinski's. So, they gave me some free coupons and told me to bring the sausage back to campus for the boys to enjoy."

The boys very much enjoyed the wild mushroom and other assorted flavors that landed on their grill, free of charge. Bilinski's, meanwhile, enjoyed the candid picture of college guys grilling up their product. It's the kind of win-win that'll get a fresh-faced sales account executive noticed.

"I've worn about eight to 10 hats with the company already. I haven't been restricted to one role. I've worked on marketing, promotion plans, order processing, even sales calls."

Ben started his job with Belinski's in late March, while concurrently working on his Siena MBA. In fact, it was a Siena connection that scored him a position with the Cohoes company.

Ben helped to organize a panel discussion of alumni through the College's marketing association. A panelist works for Bilinski's, and when a job opened up, she put Ben in contact with the right person.

"As a freshman and a sophomore, I never really understood the weight of the Siena alumni network. It's so powerful.

When you're looking for a job, and a position opens up, you've got to dive into that alumni network!"
