Mission Statement
Inspired by the legacy of Saint Francis’ encounter with Sultan Malik al-Kamil, the Damietta Cross-Cultural Center upholds the Franciscan mission by building a community strengthened through diversity. Rooted in person-centered Franciscan value, the Center highlights the uniqueness of every individual, through lived experience and perspectives.
The Center creates a safe space and uplifts all the Siena community members; students, faculty, admin and staff.
