“I’m so happy this program had this site! [...] The Refugee Welcome Center needs a lot of help with activities to meet the neighborhood and to work with people in the community. I came into the program struggling to find a way to give back to the community and wanted to connect with others but now they are working on creating a network of volunteers from Siena. Kids also want people there and you see that from how they interact with you. We didn’t change their entire lives, but now kids go to [staff] at the RWC to ask when I'm coming and that they have people to look forward to and build relationships with you.
