Jerome R. McDougal is Chairman of RB Asset, Inc., formerly known as River Bank America.

He began his career with the Peninsula National Bank of Cedarhurst in 1945. After reaching the position of Vice President in charge of Commercial and Installment Lending, he left in 1953 to serve as a Counter Intelligence Agent during the Korean conflict.

Upon returning from military service in 1955, Mr. McDougal, with his partner George Tunis, assembled the largest automotive retail chain on Long Island; established a management consulting company for retail activities of automobile manufacturers and their dealers, and in 1970, became a manufacturer of heavy duty special vocation vehicles.

In 1981 he joined the Harlem Savings Bank (later known as Apple Bank for Savings) as President and Chief Operating Officer. He became Chairman and CEO in 1986. He retired from that position in 1990, having watched the bank grow in assets to four billion dollars. In 1991, Mr. McDougal was elected Chairman, President and CEO of River Bank America.

Mr. McDougal has served as Co-Chairman of the National Conference of Christians and Jews; President and Trustee of the Vanderbuilt Museum; member of the Nassau-Suffolk BiCounty Planning Board and served in numerous trade associations. He was also active in politics, having been elected to the ew York State Assembly in 1964. He joined the Board of Associate Trustees of Siena College in 1974 and served as chairman of the Board of Trustees from 1989 to 1996, presiding over many of the deliberations that have brought Siena to the prominence it now enjoys. He retired from the Board of Trustees earlier this month. He still serves on the boards of many civic and Catholic agencies.

Mr. McDougal is a Knight of Malta and a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre in the Catholic Church. He has been honored by the Boy Scouts of America, United Cerebral Palsy, the Ursuline Center, the New York Chamber of Commerce, the New York Boys Choir of Harlem and the National Conference of Christians and Jews for his humanitarian, charitable and community involvement.
