Model United Nations

Sharpening debate and reasoning skills of members while learning more about global politics.

What we do

With 38 years of experience and practice, the Siena College Model United Nations club has seen many Siena students through the twists and turns of learning about and modeling the complexity of the United Nations. Our team is unlike any other club on campus in that we work to represent a member state of the United Nations, playing their politics and learning how to negotiate on issues ranging from human rights, to the environment, to international security. Our research and learning culminates with our participation in the Harvard National Model United Nations Conference in Boston to be held February 16 -19, 2014. With thousands of students from around the world in attendance, this prestigious conference provides an amazing opportunity to interact with students of every background and the chance to speak in front of committees of fifty to three hundred students. It is an experience unlike any other and we look forward to another exciting year with eager new delegates and dedicated returning members!
