How to Apply

International students interested in applying to any of Siena College’s graduate programs, must complete and submit the following items:

  • Online Application
  • Brief Personal Statement: Indicating the reason you are pursuing your chosen graduate program and your intended long term goals (submitted online with your application)
  • Professional Resume: Include employment history, certificate or licenses held, volunteer/extracurricular activities, leadership roles, honors/awards and education history (submitted online with your application)
  • One Recommendation submitted by a previous faculty member at your bachelor’s degree granting institution. (Your recommender will be required to submit their recommendations online - you will find instructions within the application)
    Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) applicants may use a professional reference.
    Please note that a recommendation is not required for Advanced Certificate applicants. 
  • Official Transcripts from which you have earned credit.
    If you have earned your undergraduate degree outside of the United States, please arrange to submit an evaluation of your course work using an evaluator who is a recognized member of The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES.)
    Our preferred evaluators are World Education Services, Inc. or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.
    Please request a detailed evaluation (course by course) in English of your academic records and also request that an OFFICIAL COPY of your evaluation be sent electronically to graduateadmissions@siena.edu or mailed directly
  • Official TOEFL, IELTS or DUOLINGO Test Scores are required from international students whose native language is not English. All English examination scores are considered valid up to two years after the testing date.
    Recommended Scores:
    TOEFL minimum score of 79
    IELTS a minimum score of 6.5
    DUOLINGO a minimum score of 115
    Official Test Results may be sent electronically to graduateadmissions@siena.edu or mailed directly
  • Official GMAT Scores if required (refer to Test Scores section within the application for details)
