Welcome to Siena! We have many experiences for new students just beginning their journey with us. Whether you are a new residential first-year student, a new commuter student, or a new transfer student, we are here to help you transition to life as a Saint. Take a look at some of our resources specifically for you below!
New Student Orientation
Our 5-day Orientation experience prepares new students for their time at Siena. Taking place right before classes begin each fall semester, our engaging activities and dynamic sessions gives students their first taste of life as a Saint.
Weeks of Welcome
Our Weeks of Welcome take place the first three weeks of the semester. There are different events every day from food trucks to giveaways to sponsored breaks from different offices across campus. Get a feel for some of the activities we offer all across Siena.
Commuter Transition Program
The Commuter Transition Program aims to assist first-year commuter students with their adjustment to life at Siena through mentorship and dedicated programming.
New Student Information Day
New Student Information Day takes place prior to the start of the spring semester. Tailored specifically to the needs of new students, Info Day allows these students to hear from current students and administrators about their adjustment to campus life and how to prepare for the start of their Siena experience.
SAINT Orientation Leaders
Our SAINT Orientation Leaders assist in the adjustment of new students to life at Siena through community and team building. They play a key role in facilitating our Orientation programming and easing the transition of new students.
