The meaning of the Presidential Award for excellence:
The President's Awards for Excellence, to be presented personally by President Seifert, recognize individuals within the Siena College community who have demonstrated exceptional contributions or achievements that are worthy of presidential commendation. Rooted in Siena’s mission and values, these awards honor faculty, staff, and students who have gone above and beyond in their roles, significantly contributing to our collective goals and embodying the spirit of excellence we strive for as Saints.
Reflecting President Seifert's call for "Excellence in Every Interaction," this award celebrates those who personify our Franciscan tradition, academic rigor, and dedication to service. Nominees are those who inspire others through their dedication, leadership, and commitment to creating a positive impact on the Siena community. They are the individuals who not only fulfill their roles but do so with a spirit of generosity and innovation that uplifts our shared goals and values.
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations, highlighting how their nominee exemplifies these ideals and why their contributions deserve recognition.
