Siena College is more than a liberal arts institution, it is a learning community that prepares students for a successful future filled with compassion and purpose, service and responsibility. At Siena, we believe in developing the mind while empowering the heart.
In 1937, seven Friars built Siena in the middle of an asparagus farm. From nothing, they founded a college with a soul, a Franciscan community of integrity and enlightenment. Today, the campus would be unrecognizable to our founding friars; the high-impact, customizable education would seem equally exotic. But our core values and our mission, they are eternal.
Our students experience a transformative education. They explore, discover their passions, and develop real world talents. They graduate and join the thousands of Saints around the world who make a good living and live a good life. This is our promise; this is who we are.
