Important
When copy / pasting into any of the CMS content areas it is VERY important to "paste as text". Other documents (such as Word) may include hidden code that can change the text formatting on your page. You can paste your copied text into a plain text file first, which will remove any formatting, and then copy the text from the plain text file and paste it into your webpage Or make sure to "paste as text"
- Select the text you'd like to copy.
- Press Ctrl and C (Windows) or Command and C (Mac) to copy your text.
- Create a new plain text file using a plain text editor like Notepad or TextEdit.
- Press Ctrl and V (Windows) or Command and V (Mac) to paste your text into the plain text file.
- In the plain text file, select the text you'd like to copy again.
- Press Ctrl and C (Windows) or Command and C (Mac) to copy your text.
- Open your webpage in your webpage editor.
- Press Ctrl and V (Windows) or Command and V (Mac) to paste the text into your webpage.
OR This method will strip out MOST formatting code
- Select a range of text from the document
- Press Ctrl and C (Windows) or Command and C (Mac) to copy your text
- Press Ctrl + Shift + V (CMD + Shift + V on Mac) to paste.
Linking to the Academic Catalog
If you need to link to the catalog use friendly URLs. The friendly URLs are updated annually with the new catalog information. Directly linking yourself will require a manual update.
