Connect directly to the Siena University Enterprise Rent -A-Car account in order to make reservations (must be 21 years of age) to rent vehicles for official Siena University business when University fleet vehicles are unavailable, or it makes more economical sense to do so.

- A department and/or an individual authorized to rent a vehicle for/by the University is required to abide by the same policies and procedures set forth in the Siena Vehicle and Driver Policy for University owned and leased vehicles.
- All vehicle rentals require a purchase order.
- Siena University automobile insurance policy provides Excess Liability Insurance for University rented vehicles, and Primary Insurance for physical damage to a rental vehicle.
- IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE DEPARTMENT/INDIVIDUAL TO PURCHASE THE RENTAL COMPANY'S DEDUCTIBLE INSURANCE.
Personal Vehicle
The University will reimburse employees for parking, tolls, and mileage for travel on official University business equal to the allowable IRS rate.
Check with the Office of Business Affairs for the current allowable reimbursement rate for personal vehicles.
It is important to note that any accidents incurred by employees while driving personal vehicles will fall on personal insurance coverage; even if driving on Siena University business. Any accident or violation may therefore affect your driving record and insurance rates.
