All new and returning CA candidates will be required to go through a background check. Information about this process, including required paperwork, will be shared in greater detail directly with candidates.
The CA Selection process has several key components that each candidate must complete to be fully eligible for the position. Candidates are required to:
- Attend one mandatory information session (Five are offered on different days/times, and candidates only need to attend one).
- Monday, November 17, 2025 - 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Roger Bacon 202
- Wednesday, December 3, 2025 - 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Plassmann Hall Lounge
- Thursday, December 4, 2025 - 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Roger Bacon 202
- Tuesday, January 20, 2026 - 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Roger Bacon 202
- Wednesday, January 21, 2026 - 6:30-7:30 p.m. - SSU 241-243
- Complete the CA Application.
- All CA Applications Due: Monday, January 26th 2026 (12 p.m. Noon)
- To receive an application, a candidate must attend an Information Session first
- Participate in a CA Individual Interview
- A 30-minute interview the weeks of February 2-11 with 2 Residence Directors and 1 Current Community Assistant (time slots will be communicated via email late January)
- Participate in the CA Group Process Interview.
- Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
