Through the generosity of Dr. Kenneth Hoffer, MD CCHS Class of 1961 and Siena College Class of 1965, a scholarship fund has been established, in memory of Dr. Hoffer’s mother, Mary Hoffer. Dr. Hoffer is an ophthalmologist in Santa Monica, California and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Providence St. John's Health Center and UCLA Medical Center-Santa Monica. He received his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University and specializes in Ophthalmology.

Student’s receiving this support will be known as “Hoffer Scholars.”

Once accepted into the Crusader to Saints program, participants can qualify for The Mary Hoffer Scholarship which will offer to cover the full cost ($340) of one class each semester. Any additional classes in a given semester would be at the $340 cost paid by the participant. Students need to maintain a 3.0 in their first semester to receive funding in the second. Additional funding, above the two classes, maybe available for students with specific financial need.
