1. I have 27 first cousins and 17 second cousins. Out of all of these cousins, I am one of only three who moved away from home before being married (we all just love living at home!). I am also one of only four first cousins who moved off the Island. We are one Strong Island Family!
  2. In the summer of 2015, I spent two weeks in Italy visiting my family in Vercelli, Rome, and Naples. It was such an incredible experience getting to live life like Italians for those two weeks.
  3. I grew up on Long Island (clearly), home to the best pizza and bagels in the country. I am more than willing to die on that hill! I also recruit the Island for the Siena Admissions team. I’m very qualified at selling the virtues of Siena to my people!
  4. I spent five years working at Adventureland, an amusement park on Long Island. I knew plenty of my coworkers. Ten members of my family worked right alongside me!
  5. I played in the Boys of Summer Long Island All-Star Game at the Long Island Ducks Stadium in high school. I was also invited to play at Citi Field in another All-Star Game, but I wasn't able to make it. As a Mets fan, that was a major disappointment.
  6. If you see a car around campus with a big orange thing attached to it - that's mine! I just bought myself a 12-foot boat. It's perfect for small lake fishing trips!
  7. When I was a student here, I was fortunate enough to join the men's basketball team on their trip to the University of Kansas and UNC Asheville. We got a tour of the Kansas facility and saw James Naismith's original rules of basketball. What an awesome experience!
  8. The first time I ever left the country or was on a plane was my sophomore year at Siena when I went on a service trip to Haiti with the Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy. I was then bit by the travel bug which is when I decided to go to Italy that summer, and then go back to Haiti the following year!
  9. I won 'free beer for a year' at a Siena Basketball Game! The person sitting next to me was chosen for one of the in-game challenges, and he wasn't up to participating, so he asked if I would take his place. I had to make a layup, a free throw, and two three-pointers in 30 seconds - safe to say I crushed it. I ended up getting 12 free cases of Miller Lite!
  10. I love being busy – anyone who knows me would agree – but for that reason, I have many different hobbies. I collect baseball cards, sports memorabilia, stream on Twitch, fish, build Legos, play on a softball team during the summers, and play basketball typically two to three times a week. I also travel a lot to visit my family, and I’m frequently in Baltimore to see my girlfriend (also Siena Class of 2017!). I have played the drums since I was 2, and I even attempted to teach myself the guitar, but living in a little studio apartment, the musical instruments are a bit harder to keep up with!
