1. I have been working at Siena College for the last 12 years. I spent the first 11 years in Athletics and recently moved to the office of Development and External Affairs as a Major Gift Officer.
  2. During my 11 years in Athletics, I didn’t miss a single home men’s basketball game. Even during COVID, I made it to every home game. I believe Hammer (Head Athletic Trainer Greg Dashnaw) was the only other staff member to be at every game during that time period.
  3. Prior to coming to Siena, I worked in the Arena Football League, both at the team and league level for 11 years.
  4. One of the teams I worked for was the Philadelphia Soul, owned by Jon Bon Jovi. I served as his main publicity contact as the Director of Communications. Yes, I have met him (below), and yes he is a good guy. (Those are always the questions people ask me.) I was able to travel with him often, and I’ve heard “Livin’ on a Prayer” more times that I wish to say. I’ve got many great stories from those days. My only regret was that Steve Jobs didn’t come up with the iPhone during my time working with the team.
  5. When my wife and I had our first child, Emma, JBJ sent us a Pram Stroller from Italy. The boxes it came in were bigger than my apartment at the time.
  6. While in Philadelphia, the cast of Real World: Philadelphia (an MTV reality series) worked as summer interns with the team. I served as one of their supervisors. I appeared in three episodes (briefly) and tripped on national TV in one of the scenes.
  7. I have attended many major sporting events including the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament, CFB Bowl Game, Indianapolis 500, US Golf Open, Breeders' Cup, and Women’s Soccer World Cup.  My favorite is a tie between game 5 of the 2001 World Series and the 2008 Super Bowl between the Giants and Patriots. I was sitting in the second row of the end zone where Plaxico Burress caught the game winning touchdown.
  8. My wife and I met while both attending Saint Rose. I was a baseball player (below - I wasn’t very good and Coach Rossi didn’t recruit me), and she played soccer (she was good). We have four kids including twin 10 year olds. Our oldest, Emma, is going to be a freshman at Siena next year. She is also going to be a member of the soccer team (below). Go Saints!!
  9. For the past 15 summers, our family has gone to Wells Beach, Maine. Our vacation crew is over 50 people.
  10. I have attended 63 Dave Matthews Band concerts. My goal is to always get into the post-concert selfie! (below)
