1. The first time we ever lived apart from each other was when we were 21 and Andy had an internship in Richmond, VA. Yes, we lived together all four years at Siena. We helped mom and dad out by only needing to buy one TV, one fridge, etc!

2. True story, Brandon saved Andy’s life. We were born one month premature. Brandon ate all the nutrients during the pregnancy and Andy was born extremely malnourished. They rushed him to the ICU and an old wives’ tale says twins need to be together to heal. So they placed Brandon next to Andy and 27 years later he is forever thankful for Brandon.

3. We are incredibly competitive. One summer, we had a competition to see who could throw a golf club the farthest. Andy threw his first, then went to retrieve while Brandon had the smarts to throw his at the same time. Andy looked up and whack, golf club to the face. Seven stitches later, Andy has a scar on his face to remember the incident forever.

4. In high school, dating was always fun because the girlfriends could never tell us apart. One afternoon at the lockers, Andy’s girlfriend at the time approached Brandon assuming it was Andy. Brandon ignored her and well a heated argument started after that.

5. We love going on road trips together. We’ve been up and down the east coast, and every time, something goes wrong. Concert cancelled because of a tornado? Yep. Flat tire and need to find a mechanic? Yep. You name it, and we’ve probably experienced it.

6. We are devout Irishmen. We’ve seen our favorite Irish band, The High Kings, over 20 times. Some would even say we’re even friends with the band. When travelling to Ireland, Andy talked with them all week long for different dinner recommendations.

7. Since we have an apartment together, we binge a lot of TV, but one show Andy is adamant he will never watch is Friends. It’s become sort of a thing in the apartment. When Brandon puts it on, Andy goes into the other room. We will see how long that will last!

8. Tri -athletes in high school (soccer, volleyball and baseball), we led our high school varsity soccer team to an undefeated 13-0 start during our junior season and were ranked 6th in the state. Unfortunately, the team fell short in the sectional tournament. In baseball, we were called the Irish Connection as Brandon took the mound and Andy called the pitches behind the plate.

9. To the surprise of our family, during junior year of high school, Brandon won Prom Prince. But, don’t get too excited… our high school graduated less than 100 students, so not a lot to pick from!

10. Every summer we camp with our family in the Adirondacks. We have been at the same site for 15 years. Now that we’re older, we do whatever it takes to make the trip up there.
