1. I've got a Bachelor's degree in Spanish language and culture, and lived abroad in Spain my first year of college.
2. I’ve been involved in education for a long time (before I began my career at Siena). I taught ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) for 12 years in Westchester County. I was high school co-chair (equivalent to principal) for two years.
3. I play piano and flute. I’ve accompanied a band on a European tour as well as performed at the Mercury Lounge in NYC- and did the procession music at two weddings so far.
4. I love soccer, and am a HUGE Chelsea FC supporter, my current favorite player: Reece James!
5. I’m a Pilates devotee, so much so I became a certified instructor several years ago.
6. I grew up in Hudson, NY, on a multigenerational farm, which now produces hemp for CBD products among other things.
7. I love experiencing different cultures, and have traveled to 20 countries.
8. I was born in Incheon, South Korea and named Kim, Soo-Hyun. I was adopted and moved to the United States as a baby.
9. I was an extra in a David Cross movie called "Hits", which wasn't a big hit. :) But you can see me "acting" in a scene with Matt Walsh from HBO's Veep!
10. Cooking is such a passion I've taken coursework at the Culinary Institute of America.
